Unmounting Clio at the end of the run
To store in 3rd floor electronics room:

one grey plastic clio boxes

Clio electronics rack mount box
-
Clio on the wooden castor stand.
Procedure:
- Power down the Clio computer by opening the rack monitor and choosing "Shutdown"
- Disconnect cables at Clio dewar end

Move all clio cables off the instrument lift out of the way.

Put plastic cover on dichroic.

Get wooden castor platform and put on instrument lift.

Raise lift to Clio with about 1/4 inch from clio framework.

Undo clio bolts, lowering onto the wooden platform.

Remove MMT electrical extension cord, if used.

Unplug Clio network cable and put in grey case.

Coil cables into the back of the Clio electronics box.

Cover the Clio ends of the fibre optics with the dummy fiber optic connectors.
- Put Clio in elevator and take up to 3rd floor.
Note: It is also acceptable to leave all the cables connected, and move the cryostat and electronics rack together. This is more bulky to move, but leaves the system in an operational state for off-telescope testing.
If possible, it is useful to plug Clio into a network switch on the 3rd floor and power up the computer once it is in place, to allow remote access of the machine.
